March Love Language Challenge – Week 2 – Words of Affirmation

Hello There!

Today is Love Language Day!

The love language we will focus on this week is Words of Affirmation

Can you date a person with a different love language than yours?

Of course, you can simply learn how to love them the way they like to receive love. So if Words of Affirmation is their love language, find kind words to express to the person your dating. Tell them that you like them and want them to be around. One way to do this is when given a compliment, by your date, tell them how you appreciate how they tell you things like that. Most people whose love language is Words of Affirmation compliment others a lot and are very verbal about their feelings.
Another way you can identify a person who’s love language is Words of Affirmation is, think about a time you’ve said some mean words to someone. And to you, it was just words, but to them, those words cut them like a knife? Yea, it’s safe to say their love language is Words of Affirmation.

If Words of Affirmation is your love language:
Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important— hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten. You thrive on hearing kind and encouraging words that build you up.
